Vampir meets ISC 2015

We would like to welcome you at our Booth #1022 at ISC 2015 from July 12th to July 16th 2015 in the city of Frankfurt. Among other activities, we will showcase our recent improvements in performance tracking and visualizing on the road to exascale.

Vampir 8.5 introduces improved performance charts, customizable performance metrics, and extended data filtering and preselection capabilities.
Selected highlights include:

Added support for atomic RMA operations
Enhanced grouping of processes in the Master Timeline to generate aggregated information
Introduces possibility to define and select multiple process filters
Image export to PDF format added
Support for traces generated by Score-P 1.4

Vampir Website

Score-P is the primary code instrumentation and run-time measurement framework for Vampir 8, and also works natively with Scalasca, TAU, and Periscope.
The latest version 1.4 provides numerous improvements and new features.
Selected highlights include:

For GCC a new function instrumentation is available via the plug-in interface of the compiler. This new function instrumentation greatly improves the measurement performance. It also provides compile-time instrumentation filtering using the same filter file format as the run-time filtering.
Support for OpenCL instrumentation
Added support for Intel Xeon Phi systems (native mode only)
Support for Fujitsu FX100 systems added
Support for CUDA (up to version 7.0)

Vampir Editions

Performance data originating from large-scale parallel applications can easily reach volumes in the order of hundreds of gigabytes. Interactive visualization and analysis of such data volumes require a parallel and highly scalable analysis engine. The Vampir tool chain addresses this issue with a parallel analysis component called VampirServer. Developers can interact with VampirServer from their desktop using the Vampir GUI as a performance data browser.
