Its the HPC season of the year and we are part of the SC family meeting in Denver Colorado. We come feature packed, as always and will showcase the newest Vampir features, Score-P addons and current research topics. You can again win a NVIDIA GPU and there's a live vizualisation of PIConGPU using a Microsoft Kinect. Come grab gummy bears and a Vampir pin, we are at booth #3905, right next to Fusion-IO and Internet 2.

Vampir meets ISC'13 in Leipzig

We would like to welcome you at our Booth #645 at ISC'13 from June 16th to June 20th 2013 in the city of Leipzig. Among other activities, we will showcase our recent improvements in performance tracking towards exascale. The new Vampir 8.1 release focuses on the graphical presentation of performance data and introduces hierarchical process folding, new peer-to-peer communication metrics, and a fully re-designed comparison mode for multiple program runs. The corresponding Score-P 1.2 performance monitor provides a generic event model for remote memory access (RMA), metric plugins for custom user data, and snapshots (OTF2) for selective processing of performance data.

Vampir meets SC'12 in Salt Lake City, Utah

Vampir version 8 will be released at SC12. It fully supports Score-P, the new monitoring infrastructure. This includes the new OTF2 file format as well as all new monitoring capabilities of Score-P. Compatibility with the earlier OTF and VampirTrace releases is maintained. Verion 8 comes with a ton of new features, the ability to pre-select the time interval of interest prior to loading the actual performance data and automated detection of identical or very similar task recordings to name only two.
Score-P is the primary code instrumentation and run-time measurement framework for Vampir 8. The latest version 1.1 provides a number of improvements and new features like profiling tasks, support for instrumenting and monitoring of CUDA applications and the rewind functionality to assist long-term trace recording.

Vampir met SC'11

The Vampir team thanks you for joining us during SC'11! We still provide information on our solutions for peta-scale performance analysis with the Vampir tool chain on this site. Besides the many improvements and extensions in our software products, this years highlight was the successful measurement and visualization of the performance of an application on 200,448 MPI processes. Learn more about this in our Vampir-News flyer. Also, we provide more about ZIHs research activities and other projects such as Score-P and MUST.
